Wessex Fleet Updates
Our Directors Spencer Blake and Tim McNally visited the Commercial Vehicle Show at the end of April. As the UK’s largest road transportation show, it fills the huge halls of the NEC in Birmingham and is widely regarded as the event to showcase new innovations, products and related services to fleet managers or those responsible for acquiring trucks and vans.
This year’s show was taking place at a pivotal time for the automotive industry with Net Zero deadlines getting closer. This made the zero emission vehicles and products on show together with the conversations being had about decarbonising fleets particularly interesting for Tim and Spencer. They also enjoyed catching up with contacts and making new ones.
The Commercial Vehicle Show is now in its 23rd year and is one of the best places to see new vans, trucks and other commercial vehicles. In addition to developments in electrification hydrogen and Net Zero targets, the show focused on skills and recruitment.
Our directors plan to return for the Commercial Vehicle Show 2025 from 29 April to 1 May at the NEC.
